Dr. Stan Archie is Senior Pastor at Christian Fellowship Ministries. He serves as clinical director at Footprints and is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a private behavioral health practice. Stan spent ten years a chaplain with the Kansas City Missouri Police Department.

Bobbi Jo is a person in long-term recovery who served as the Coalition’s chair for nine years. She is the Founder and CEO of Healing House, Inc., established in 2002 to provide quality, safe, faith-based, recovery housing for women. Healing House has expanded to serving women, men, and children with 15 homes, three apartment buildings, and the Recovery Community Center. Bobbi Jo has provided the opportunity for others to reclaim their lives, and begin the restoration of hope; all while transforming the community around her.

Rachel is CEO of Ozark Recovery Housing’s Sober Living and Respite Care program. She has extensive experience in managing sober living and respite programs, administrative support, and billing expertise. Her multifaceted skill set makes her a valuable addition to our team. What makes her role even more special is that she also brings her lived experience as a peer, enhancing our holistic approach to recovery and support.
Treasurer
As Chief Financial Officer of Healing House, Michael oversees the organization’s financial strategy and operations, ensuring fiscal health, transparency, and long-term sustainability. He has spent more than 30 years serving people experiencing homelessness and those struggling with substance use disorders. Previously, he was Executive Director of Footprints, and earlier founded City Vision University in Kansas City, Missouri, where he served as Chief Academic Officer for eight years. For 17 years, he also led educational initiatives as Director of Education for the Association of Gospel Rescue Missions (now CityGate Network).
Secretary
Amber Kellison serves as Secretary of the Executive Board for the Kansas City Recovery Coalition and is a passionate advocate for recovery, community engagement, and service. She holds credentials as a CPS, MARS, and a MAADC II. She currently serves as a Community Support Specialist with Compass Health Network. As a person in long-term recovery, Amber has dedicated her life to helping individuals and families find hope, healing, purpose, and connection. She is actively involved in recovery advocacy, community outreach, and leadership initiatives throughout the Kansas City area, including founding the KC Recovery Bowling League. Amber credits God’s grace for her recovery journey and is dedicated to serving others with compassion, humility, and hope. She is honored to support the Kansas City Recovery Coalition and its vision to build healthy, strong recovery communities throughout the Kansas City region.
Parliamentarian
After 30 years of battling substance use disorder, Adam found recovery through a long-term faith-based facility in Arkansas. Since 2018, he and his wife Pam have been helping other families like their own. CLEARR Ministries was born in 2023 when he became Director of the recovery ministry at Woods Chapel United Methodist Church. CLEARR is a faith-based community for people whose lives have been affected by addiction. Through worship, discussion, and service, we will build strength together.
Chaplain
Bethany currently serves as Recovery Ministries Coordination Director at the Church of the Resurrection, Leawood KS. She is a certified drug and alcohol counselor and a certified peer specialist. Bethany previously spent over six years on the staff of First Call KC as a counselor and recovery advocate.

Jill currently serves as Community Manager at Journey to New Life in Kansas City, MO. JTNL facilitates the empowerment of people reentering society from prison or other involvement with the criminal legal system; providing first stop services, residences, case management and employment assistance in a safe and supportive environment.

Joey Thomas is Deputy Director at Healing House here in Kansas City. I’ve had the opportunity to support individuals and families in recovery through housing, programming, and community partnerships. He is passionate about strengthening systems that promote long-term recovery and is serving in this role to continue building collaborative efforts that support individuals in our community.
