Highlights from the November 5, 2026 coalition meeting, including key points from Stan Archie’s Medicaid presentation:

  • More than 300,000 Missourians received Medicaid notices.
  • An estimated 90,000–130,000 may lose coverage.
  • Renewals are now every 6 months.
  • The 80-hour community-engagement requirement is 80 hours in one calendar month between renewals.
  • Respond within 35 days of a non-compliance letter.
  • Back coverage is 3 months now, and 1 month from January 1, 2027.
  • Agencies were advised to start capturing and tracking hours now.
  • Open questions remain on who can give a substance use disorder diagnosis and on a 5-year recovery cap.

  • Confirm your DMH certification and directory listing.
  • Record substance use disorder diagnosis codes.
  • Keep 42 CFR Part 2 consent and verification forms ready.

Statewide Highlights — Missouri Coalition of Recovery Support Providers (MCRSP)

  • Healing House and New Beginnings, Inc. were recognized at the 2026 MCRSP Statewide Conference, September 2–3, 2026, in Columbia, Missouri, for 10 years of MCRSP/NARR accreditation, since 2016.
  • MCRSP reached 4,000 accredited recovery beds in April 2026.
