Kansas City Unsung Hero Award: This award honors an individual or organization that has made a significant impact on the substance use disorder services field in the Kansas City, Missouri metro area.

Shari Morlang State of Missouri Unsung Hero Award: This award recognizes an individual who has contributed to advancing the prevention, treatment, or recovery services for substance use disorders. The nominee must be employed by the State of Missouri or have made a significant statewide impact on recovery services.

Sgt. Gary Cooley Law Enforcement Unsung Hero Award: This award is presented to a law enforcement professional or unit that has positively impacted the lives of individuals or agencies supported by the Kansas City Recovery Coalition. The recipient is selected by current law enforcement officers.

Michael Williams Mental Health Unsung Hero Award: This award honors an individual who has provided outstanding service in the substance use disorder field, including but not limited to prevention, mental health or substance abuse treatment, faith-based initiatives, assessment, recovery services, re-entry, employment, street outreach, detoxification, aftercare, therapy, or administration.

Community Volunteer Unsung Hero Award: This award is given to an individual who has demonstrated exceptional dedication to the recovery community, offering their time and passion to help those affected by addiction.

Achieving Youth Unsung Hero Award: This award celebrates a young person who has overcome the challenges of addiction, demonstrating resilience by achieving personal goals and reaching new heights of success.
